Facts on Civil Defence Life

Which ever ****** who said that Civil Defence was 'slack' ought to be shot..Firefighting is much more tougher than what the army or the police do..Firefighter Training is much worse than commando training..on the average,out of 20 people..7 will faint in every training session.

Many people look down on the Civil Defence as they say it's for 'matreps'.For your information,these 'matreps' are the ones saving your lives or loved ones in times of danger.The army and police train for war and fighting but hey..wasn't the last war fought many many years ago?

Never challenge your superiors no matter what...500+ pushups a day and 3-4 rounds around the academy doesn't really sound that cool...

Our uniforms are seriously supercool and erm..haha...the gals love it..

Try not to 'chao keng' too many times..your mates will not really like it and keep calling you ayam sakit.

Never shout at your man to do something unless they fail to comply..otherwise..you will never gain respect from your men.

You realise you become good at housekeeping all of a sudden...haha

Never ever use your camera to take videos or pictures at 12am on a thursday night during guard duty....i kind of learnt that lesson..but haha..i won't mind giving it a shot again..you will hear many unique sounds and if you're lucky..some white figures hopping around or flying around from tree to tree :)
